VIN DU MOUTHEROT

Vin du Moutherot is located in Franche-Comté just outside Côtes du Jura. Today it is Mathieu Colin in charge of the daily work in the vineyards as well as in the cellar. His father planted the vineyards back in 1987, growing up with a dream of cultivating vineyards like he did as a child with his grandfather. 

The small winery farms around 7,5 hectares. Everything is done without the use of pesticides, artificial fertilizers and other chemicals. Organic farming as it should be. 

The approach in the cellar is very old school. Fermentation and aging at old wood until the wine is ready to be bottled.
